Setting the Stage for a Spook-tacular Halloween!

It’s almost that time again – the countdown is on! And the streets are about to be filled with ghosts, goblins, and vampires! It’s Halloween! Halloween is a big deal in our house! I have filled the house with decorations, polished off at least 3 bags of candy, and got the costumes all ready to go!

But the most fun I have had, (pretty sad I know!) is putting together my fall planters on my porch. I had two great planters that were sitting in my backyard, looking quite sad, filled with dead dahlias of a season passed! So I had a brainwave, and decided they needed to be on my porch. They were calling to be filled with seasonal squash and pumpkins. (I have never seen so many pumpkins and squash in the markets as I have this year!) And to spook them up for Halloween we added spiders and creepy crawlies! I think they look great!

Did you use real pumpkins and squash or fake ones?

  2. @AnonymousI used all real ones! I found them at our local farmers market.
