| 1 cup of hot chocolate = 1 tbsp cocoa powder + 1 tbsp sugar |
Yesterday we were the 2nd coldest place on Earth, behind the South Pole. Wow! If there is ever a time to have hot chocolate it is now. Get out your apron and let’s get creating!
I never have mix here, and I don’t buy the chocolate syrop. I have this thing with corn syrop and additives in my food, so I don’t buy hot chocolate. But I recently discovered that you can make your own mix with 2 ingredients: cocoa and sugar.
You can make 1 cup of hot chocolate with 1 tbsp cocoa powder and 1 tbsp sugar.
Seriously, why have I never tried this before?
Enjoy!

Hi I'm Jo-Anna! I mom. I blog. I cook. I craft. I like pretty things.

What a great post, Jo-Anna! So helpful are you!
I really love your blog and check it out everyday. You are so multitalented. Love it.
Stay warm!
Thanks Lori! You are so nice! I really enjoy this blog!
I’ve been doing it this for a few months now. At first I did what you did with the one tablespoon cocoa and the one tablespoon sugar. I now just skip the sweetener and add one scoop of Kal Stevia. It is calorie free but it is natural. It doesn’t harm the body like the artificial sweeteners do.
Oh that sounds very interesting! I’ve never used Kal Stevia before…I just might have to try it!

I think just microwaving chocolate milk makes a great hot chocolate as well…that is if you have it on hand! :) Love all the tips and recipes on your blog!
AHHHH!!!!!! FINALLY an EASY delicious (looks delicious anyway) way to replace those stupid hot chocolate packets! :) And now I want some and can’t have any because I am at work….tonight you are MINE delicious looking hot chocolate!
