Ever since I saw gallery walls put together with fabric covered embroidery hoops, I’ve been in love!
And I’ve been racking my brain about where to put them! I mean how easy would they be to make?!
All you need are some hoops, some fabulous fabric, and art is born! Love!
Let’s take a little look at some amazing galleries!

Pretty, pretty, pretty!
So in enter my desire to make a fabric covered embroidery hoop!
While out at the fabric store one day with my little brood, my daughter found the prettiest yellow fabric!
I had to buy it, and I knew just what I was going to do with a little piece of it!
Make my very own hoop!
- I bought a wooden embroidery hoop from Michaels
- And because I like to spray paint, I sprayed it Antique White to match everything else I’ve got goin’ on in my home!
- Then when it was all dry, I covered the hoop with the fabric. Just make sure to pull the fabric tight, but not too tight, as you don’t want the fabric to become warped.
- Hang!

Hi I'm Jo-Anna! I mom. I blog. I cook. I craft. I like pretty things.

What a great idea! I think I know where this is going . . . :)
What a lovely idea. Really like the idea for the baby room.
Love this idea!
I’ve been meaning to do this too and I love the fabric you found – which store was it?
These are so cute! I will definitely have to keep this project in mind for when I redecorate my girl’s room! Thanks for sharing!
adorable! I love the one where they are hanging above the crib. So smart! Love your new fabric too :)
I love the hoops too! I have a few pics pinned on Pinterest. Yours looks great. I love the fabric!
I have some hoops that I have been wanting to do something with. I am lazy :) It’s all in the choice of fabrics if you ask me.
What a great idea! I’ve never seen these done before. I love it.
love this! thanks for sharing yours and others! beautiful!
GORGEOUS!! I too am in love with the hoops ;) I have a ton of them waiting for the right inspiration. Thanks for reminding me how much I love the look of them!!
Those fabric hoops are so pretty! Now I’m racking my brain on where I could hang some around here… :)
Hope you have a good weekend, Jo-Anna!
This is genius! I’ve never seen this before. I am going to do this, for sure! I bought some fabric the other day, simply because I loved it, no idea what I will do with it. Maybe I do now! Thank you!

Love your hoop-la! SO CUTE, what a darling sunny yellow print. I so want to do some hoop-la myself. Thanks for linking, winks-jen
love that fabric!!! Great project so I’ll be on the lookout for vintage fabrics at my local thrift shops!
I’ve also never seen this before…but I love it! The one with the hoops above the crib made me think of planets…I may have to find some marbled and tye-dyed fabrics to make the different planets if we ever make the space-themed nursery my husband wants. :)
I have just recently done up my craft room and seen these when looking for some inspiration so I have bought some fabric, Amy Butler of course and hoops and will be doing the same as you, spray paint hehe and then I can’t wait to hang them around, LOVE yours super CUTE!
xx
They are so amazing and yours looks gorgeous! I just wish that I could find a way to get those hoops at a better price. They are so expensive brand new over here in Australia!
Thanks for the tips too.
Best wishes,
