Gourd-geous! Putting Together My Fall Porch

You might already know that I have this thing with decorating my front porch…

…I fill these pots with decorations on Valentines Day and Christmas.
It’s just so inspiring to switch it up for all the different seasons and holidays.
Each year I try to do things a little differently, all depending on what I can find for decorations.
Fall is the best because decoration inspiration is everywhere!
These pots are a little different from last years, but I love them just as much.
This year I’m loving kale, pumpkins, and gourds!
So I put them all together and my Fall Front Porch is ready to go!
Come take a look!
I love how they look like cornucopias full of harvest goodness.
All the colours I used match my Cozy Fall Yarn Wreath.

How pretty is kale?!
I just hope it can handle the frosts that are just around the corner!

Here’s a view in the sunshine.
Cozy & warm.

And the gourds!
All fancy with their warty selves.
You just have to love them…
More pumpkins!
I bought quite a few because I like to have 1 per family member
for pumpkin carving time at Halloween!
And I love their bright punch of orange.

Simple.  Inexpensive.  Gourd-geous!
Thanks for coming up to my door to have a look!
It’s great to have you here.

  4. Jo-Anna, it is gourdeous!! I love what you did. = )

I have a old, rusty metal bucket out front that I put some gourds and other greenery in last week. Yesterday morning I’m out the door to take my daughter to school, and one little green gourd is missing!! We think an animal must have taken it. Who else would? Weird, huh? So today or tomorrow I’m hitting Superstore to get some more and buy a few big pumpkins. Our store just got them.

    Have a great day!

  24. Hello, and thank you for inspiring me to do something with my downtrodden front porch.

Did you use some sort of potting mix in the planter? That is already sounding like a dumb question…but I need step-by-step help with gardening projects.
