  • Reply Kim Scheibs March 2, 2017 at 12:24 PM I love the stone on your fireplace. Do you mind telling me what brand of stone and color?
    • Reply Jo-Anna@APrettyLife March 2, 2017 at 4:44 PM Hi Kim! We are not the first owners of this home, so I don’t know anything about how the fireplace was made (or by whom). I’m not 100% sure what the stone is, but it appears to be a man-made moulded limestone of some sort. It’s not real stone, but it sure looks like it! I’m sure if you mentioned that to a builder/fireplace expert they would know exactly what direction to point you. Sorry I couldn’t be much more of a help! Jo-Anna
  • Reply Janice Moran April 12, 2017 at 2:04 PM Just a quick question regarding your butter tart squares. Are the measurements for baking powder and flour accurate? 1 Tbsp (tablespoon)of baking powder seems like a lot and 3 tsp(teaspoons) of flour doesn't seem like much. Just let me know😃
    • Reply Jo-Anna@APrettyLife April 14, 2017 at 4:03 PM Hi Janice! Sorry to have missed this! Yes, the measurements are correct...they do seem weird but they work!
  • Reply Alexandra June 30, 2017 at 10:26 AM This comment is regarding your Zucchini Cheddar & Chive Buttermilk Quickbread - Finally, a savory zucchini bread! Yea! Even my husband - who hates veggies like cats hate dogs - is eager for me to make it. I included it in a round-up of fabulous zucchini breads here: http://wifesense.com/10-absolutely-fabulous-zucchini-bread/ Just wanted to let you know. 😋
