Spooky Eyeball Wreath

- – – – – — – – – –
I couldn’t resist.
I swore I wouldn’t do it.
But I did.
I posted a Halloween project before October 1.
Eek.
——
BUT, I have been dying to make this wreath,
ever since I bought out the entire stock of eyeballs at Michaels this summer!
As soon as I saw these googly eyes I knew exactly what I was going to make!
Being the wreath addict that I am, what else could I possibly do?!
- – – – – – – – – – –
So fun.  So spooky.
So googly.

‘eye’ see you….

- – – – – – – -
Spooky.  Nothing scarier than a bloodshot eyeball!

Materials
1 grapevine wreath
1 can flat black spray paint (I used Krylon – I love their spray nozzle)
92 eyeballs
glue gun
  • I bought my grapevine wreath from Michaels, and knew it was what I needed, but it wasn’t the right colour.  My daughter said “Hey mom, you should spray paint it!”  So I spray painted it black, and now it’s perfect.  (what a smart cookie!)
  • Then I randomly glued on the eyeballs.
Really so easy.  And we LOVE how it turned out!  It makes us laugh every time we look at it!  ;)

Have a googly woogly day!

  39. Ha! This is SO much fun! Great idea spray painting the wreath prior – I’ve always wondered what to do with the grapevine wreaths when covering them! The eyeballs are equally fun and creepy – perfect for Halloween! I’d love if you linked up to our Fall Wreath Craft Party this month!

  40. How cool!

  41. If I saw that at nighttime I would be scared out of my mind. Like eyeballs are so creepy. They just stare you down. It’s like stop looking at me!

  42. Wow! What a brilliant idea, so effective. Everyone will think this is awesome!

  43. Hey just wanted to give you a quick heads up and let you know
a few of the images aren’t loading properly. I’m not sure why but I
think its a linking issue. I’ve tried it in two different internet browsers and both show the same outcome.

  44. Oh my, this is awesome! Would love to do this with the kids. Where did you purchase the eyeballs?
