Valentines Day Recipe Ideas

Hi friends!

Lately I’ve been thinking about recipes for Valentines Day, even though it’s still a month away!  I like this time of year and planning for Valentines Day even though we don’t really do a lot for it.  I just like that it’s a bright spot in what can be a dreary winter!

So I thought I’d round up some recipes from my blog that would be delicious for loooooove day!

Olive Tapenade

Starting with this Olive Tapenade.  Last weekend I made this fresh take on the classic tapenade for a get together with friends, and today I’m sharing the recipe over on the Kendall Jackson blog (head on over to see it)!  Something about this tapenade makes me think of a nice romantic dinner with your honey, or a nice gathering with your family and close friends.

Wine & Cheese Party {A Pretty Life}

Another nice idea for Valentines Day is to have a wine & cheese party!  Or if you wish to keep things small and private you can just decrease the amounts of cheese and bites, making just enough for two.

Don’t forget lunch!  This Chicken Noodle Soup with Heart Shaped Carrots is so fun…your kids will love the heart shaped carrots…I promise they’re not hard to make!  And no, this is not something I do every day!  😉

Valentines Day Dessert Ideas

No Valentines Day is complete without dessert!  For dessert you can make this Cupid’s Cloud Raspberries & Cream Dessert.  It’s light, creamy and very good!  Or if you are craving a decadent chocolate dessert, this rich Stout Chocolate Cake will surely be a hit!
