- 3 tbsp finely chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 1/4 teaspoon dried hot red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp vegetable oil
- 3 tbsp water
- 1 – 2 tbsp creamy peanut butter
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tsp tomato paste
- 3/4 tsp sugar
- In a small saucepan, cook the onion, garlic, and red pepper flakes in oil until soft, about 4 minutes.
- Whisk in the remaining ingredients, and simmer while stirring, about 1 minute.
