So I made a wreath and it has fake flowers on it.  Let me tell you, I’m as surprised by this wreath as you are.  I am not a fan of fake flowers…at all.  Until now?  Who even am I?  But I saw this wreath then this one, and I knew I had to make one for my home for fall.  There is something so romantic, and cozy and lovely about those wreaths, which inspired me to create one for myself.  I will say that fake flowers have come a looooooong way over the years.  You can actually find some pretty fantastic flowers that looks real.

So off to Michaels I went in search of flowers that would match my colour scheme for this fall.  I’m changing things up here this year, and am incorporating colours that I’ve never used for fall…warm purples, blues, lavenders, pinks, rust and orange.  I can’t wait to share my fall home tour with you, so stay tuned!

I found these pretty flowers in blue/grey, cream and shades of burgundy…so pretty.

Then I used a hot glue gun and glued them to a wooden wreath base that I also found at Michaels.  Seriously, this wreath took me 10 minutes to make, and cost less than $10 because I got everything on coupon.  Awesome.

Isn’t it so pretty?  I’m really happy with how it turned out…and it looks so nice on my mantel against the $5 painting I found at a thrift sale this summer. Love.
